Why styling clay?
Not only does styling clay have a stronger hold. It also gives your hair flexibility so you can re-style it whenever you want. With gel, you can't do this. Plus, your hair looks natural.
BUT...some guys don't know how to use their styling clay. Sometimes, I see flakes (or remnants of clay) lodged in their hair. They look like dandruff or dirt.
Here's how you use your styling clay properly.
- With your thumbnail, scrape your clay to a pea size (or even smaller).
- Put the clay on your palm.
- Rub your palm against each other slowly to distribute the clay. Do this until no clay is visible on your palm.
- Weave your palm through your hair.
- Style your hair.
